Women in AA

Alcoholism does not discriminate—it can affect women just as deeply as men. Many women may feel hesitant to seek help because of stigma, family responsibilities, or the belief that “alcoholism is only a man’s problem.” But the truth is, countless women around the world have found freedom, healing, and a new way of life through Alcoholics Anonymous.

At A.A., women discover they are not alone. In meetings, they meet others who understand their struggles, share their experiences, and offer support without judgment. The program of recovery—the Twelve Steps—gives women a path to rebuild confidence, restore relationships, and live alcohol-free with dignity and strength.

To make it easier for women to connect, we have a dedicated women’s WhatsApp support group where members can share, ask questions, and encourage each other on the journey of recovery.

👉 Join the group today through the button below and find strength in the company of women who understand.

P-5 Women in A.A.

Twelve alcoholic women from a range of backgrounds — a U.S. Marine, a stay-at-home mom, a teenage runaway — share how they stopped drinking and found recovery in A.A. Touching on many of the themes common among still-suffering female alcoholics, their stories show how Alcoholics Anonymous helped these women find a new way of life.
